Evian TG have climbed out of Ligue 1's relegation places after beating Nice 4-0 this afternoon.
Dario Cvitanich and Kevin Diaz had early efforts for the visitors, but it was Evian who broke the deadlock, as Kevin Berigaud tapped the ball in from the middle of the penalty area.
The home side doubled their advantage at the start of the second half through a Mohammed Rabiu effort from distance.
Renato Civelli headed a chance wide as Nice looked to get back into the match, but the hosts continued to press, with Cedric Cambon just missing the target with a header, but Rabiu forced a save from David Ospina.
Evian added to the score just on the hour mark, as Saber Khelifa smashed the ball in from close range.
Diacko Fofana and Fabrice Abriel both tested Bertrand Laquait in the closing stages of the match, but Nice were unable to reduce the deficit before Khelifa added Evian's fourth just before full time.
