Exeter City have held Queens Park Rangers to a goalless draw in their first pre-season friendly.
The League Two side, first up on Rangers' tour of Devon, acquitted themselves well throughout and might have managed an unlikely win.
After some early pressure from QPR, it was City who had the game's first shot on target when Jake Gosling fired at goal from long range, only to see Robert Green tip his effort wide.
Harry Redknapp's men began to dominate as the half wore on and only a fine save from Artur Krysiak and some good defending denied Junior Hoilett and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Both teams made multiple changes at the break but it didn't alter the flow of the match, with Krysiak again reacting well to deny substitute Andy Johnson.
Exeter were comfortable for the remainder of the second period without really threatening the QPR defence.
