Coventry City have reportedly been given permission to talk to Falkirk manager Steven Pressley.
The League One outfit have been without a manager since Mark Robins departed the club last month, but it had been understood that interim boss Lee Carsley could be handed the role.
However, according to BBC Sport, Pressley will undergo talks with the Midlands outfit in the next 24 hours with a view to becoming Coventry's new boss.
Pressley has taken Falkirk to fifth position in the Scottish First Division, while he has also guided his team to a place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Carsley, who took over in a caretaker role last month, has overseen three wins and two defeats from his five matches in charge.
As yet there has been no official comment from either club.
