Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy.

Cincinnati vs. New England (Sunday, 12.30am)

Seeking to make it four wins on the bounce, a rejuvenated New England Revolution journey to the TQL Stadium to face FC Cincinnati on Saturday.

The Orange and Blue head into the weekend unbeaten in their last seven games against the Revs — including three wins in their most recent three encounters — and will look to extend this impressive run.

We say: FC Cincinnati 3-1 New England Revolution

While the Revs will be looking to pick up where they left off against Vancouver Whitecaps and continue their fine run of results, they take on a well-drilled Cincinnati side who have won nine of their last 10 matches. The Revs have picked up just two points in seven away matches this season and we see them struggling at the TQL Stadium.

Columbus Crew vs. Kansas (Sunday, 12.30am)

Columbus Crew square off against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night looking to close the gap on the top four in the Western Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the visitors sit second bottom of the Eastern Conference and desperately need an upturn in fortunes if they are to challenge for the MLS playoffs.

We say: Columbus Crew 3-1 Sporting Kansas City

Although the home side lost last time out, it was to leaders Inter Miami. As a result, we expect them to shake off that disappointment and come through rather convincingly on Saturday night.

DC United vs. Houston (Sunday, 12.30am)

DC United will be looking to snap their seven-match winless run when they play host to Houston Dynamo at Audi Field on Saturday.

This will be the first meeting between the two sides since May 2022, when the Black-and-Red'spicked up a 2-0 victory courtesy of a first-half brace from Taxiarchis Fountas.

We say: DC United 2-2 Houston Dynamo

DC United could do well with a morale-boosting result as they have picked up just two points in their last seven matches since May. Houston Dynamo have failed to win their last four away matches and we predict both sides will cancel out each other's efforts in an entertaining draw.

NY Red Bulls vs. Toronto (Sunday, 12.30am)

Fresh off a disappointing two-game homestand, Toronto will travel to Red Bull Arena on Saturday to face the New York Red Bulls on matchday 20 of the MLS campaign for both sides.

On Wednesday, New York came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw with CF Montreal, while the Reds squandered a narrow half-time lead, losing 2-1 to Nashville SC.

We say: New York Red Bulls 2-1 Toronto

The Red Bulls have continuously found ways to earn points this season, and that should give them a psychological edge against a Toronto side whose frustrations appear to be high.

Orlando City vs. Chicago Fire (Sunday, 12.30am)

Orlando City and Chicago Fire will each be looking to move clear of the bottom of the Eastern Conference table when they meet on Saturday night.

These two sides sit in 14th and 13th position respectively, and are at risk of being pulled down to last place should they suffer defeat at Inter&Co Stadium.

We say: Orlando City 1-2 Chicago Fire

Although both sides avoided defeat in their last game, it is Chicago Fire who have recently built up a head of steam. With that in mind, we are backing the visitors to make it three MLS triumphs on the bounce.

Philadelphia vs. Charlotte FC (Sunday, 12.30am)

Philadelphia Union will host Charlotte FC on Sunday, seeking a win to solidify their position in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Meanwhile, the visitors head into this contest looking to extend their unbeaten run to four games while maintaining a top-five spot.

We say: Philadelphia Union 1-1 Charlotte FC

Philadelphia have a strong record at home in this fixture, but their home form this season has not been great while Charlotte have not been bad overall, but their away form is not impressive. The last two meetings between these sides have ended in draws, and we think this will be the same.

Minnesota Utd vs. Austin (Sunday, 1.30am)

Two sides who could really do with a victory lock horns at the Allianz Field on Sunday as Minnesota United entertain the challenge of Austin FC.

The hosts have come out on top in just one of their last six matches, while their visitors make the trip this weekend winless in five consecutive outings.

We say: Minnesota United 2-1 Austin FC

The sides boast similar defensive records heading into this one but Minnesota have been significantly better at the top end of the pitch and we are backing them to emerge victorious, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Nashville vs. NY City (Sunday, 1.30am)

Nashville SC will begin a two-game homestand on Saturday when they take on New York City FC at GEODIS Park in the 19th MLS contest for both sides this season.

A 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Toronto put the Boys in Gold three points above the Eastern Conference playoff line, while the Pigeons maintained their fourth-place standing despite a 2-0 loss versus the Los Angeles Galaxy.

We say: Nashville SC 1-2 New York City FC

Having two terrific chances creators in Moralez and Rodriguez should enable the Boys in Blue to unlock this formidable Nashville backline and give NYCFC a first-ever away victory against them.

St Louis City vs. Atlanta (Sunday, 1.30am)

St Louis City will set out to end a barren run of seven games without a victory when they welcome Atlanta United to CITYPARK on Sunday.

The away side, meanwhile, head to Missouri this weekend in search of consecutive wins having returned to winning ways in their most recent outing.

We say: St Louis City 1-1 Atlanta United

Both sides have made relatively underwhelming starts to the new campaign and will be looking to get themselves back on track with all three points here. We are anticipating an open and end to end clash with honours even at the end of the 90 minutes.

Colorado vs. Montreal (Sunday, 2.30am)

On Saturday, the Colorado Rapids can win a third consecutive MLS encounter for the first time since August 2021 when they host CF Montreal at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

A 3-0 victory over St Louis City this week lifted the Burgundy Boys up to fifth in the Western Conference table, while Le CFM are 12th in the East following a 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls.

We say: Colorado Rapids 2-1 CF Montreal

Montreal have been messy defensively all season long, and we believe the continuous Colorado pressing will cause them to turn the ball over often and lead to another defeat for the Canadians.

Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy (Sunday, 2.30am)

Real Salt Lake lock horns with Los Angeles Galaxy at America First Field on Sunday in a top-of-the-table clash in the MLS Western Conference.

Both sides played out 2-2 draws in their last two meetings, but the hosts will be aiming for a victory this time to extend their winning streak on home turf.

We say: Real Salt Lake 1-1 Los Angeles Galaxy

This is set to be a tight affair, with both sides having enjoyed strong MLS campaigns so far. We expect a draw, mirroring the outcome of their last two encounters.

Los Angeles vs. Earthquakes (Sunday, 3.30am)

Los Angeles FC face San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday, in a clash of two sides at the opposite ends in the MLS Western Conference table.

The hosts boast an unbeaten home record in the 2024 MLS campaign and aim to extend that run to ten matches when they take to the pitch this weekend.

We say: Los Angeles FC 2-0 San Jose Earthquakes

Los Angeles are the most in-form side in the MLS right now and have been almost invincible on home soil. With San Jose's struggles this year, we see nothing but victory for the hosts in this affair.

Portland vs. Vancouver (Sunday, 3.30am)

Another chapter in the Cascadia Cup rivalry takes centre stage at Providence Park this weekend when the Portland Timbers host the Vancouver Whitecaps in MLS action on Saturday.

On Wednesday, the Timbers moved up to seventh in the Western Conference with a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes, putting them a point behind the Caps for sixth, with the latter suffering a 3-2 defeat versus the New England Revolution last weekend.

We say: Portland Timbers 2-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

The Caps have not proven they can consistently win in MLS, and without a key ball winner in Cubas, they will have a tough time contending with an aggressive Timbers side that possesses plenty of attacking depth.

Seattle vs. Dallas (Sunday, 3.30am)

Seattle Sounders and Dallas meet on Saturday evening with both teams looking to keep in the mix for the MLS playoffs.

Both sides currently sit just outside of the top nine in the Western Conference standings, albeit having found some form in recent weeks.

We say: Seattle Sounders 2-2 Dallas

With both teams on an upward curve, we expect a competitive encounter to play out on Saturday night. Goals were scored at each end in their respective most recent fixtures, and more of the same could occur at the weekend.
