In search of a seventh consecutive Eredivisie victory, PSV Eindhoven visit the Grolsch Veste Stadium on Saturday to face off against FC Twente.
The home side also come into the clash on a high having won each of their last four matches and are unbeaten in 15 of their last 16 league outings.
Match preview
PSV Eindhoven kept the juggernaut rolling with an emphatic 5-0 victory over relegation-threatened Fortuna Sittard two Sundays ago.
Goals from Philipp Max, Ritsu Doan, Eran Zahavi, Bruma and Carlos Vinicius saw Roger Schmidt's men run riot at the Philips Stadion.
The Rood-witten remain in hot pursuit of Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie table, with just two points separating the sides with seven games to the end of the campaign.
Awaiting PSV next is the challenge of an opposing side who are yet to come out on top in any of the last 15 encounters between the teams dating back to 2013.
Off the back of a 5-2 win in October's reverse fixture, Saturday's visitors set out to complete a league double over their hosts and set the tone for their European commitment five days later.
Twente claimed a third 1-0 victory in the space of 13 days as they got the better of bottom club PEC Zwolle on March 19.
Daan Rots broke the deadlock in the 19th minute, and that was enough to secure all three points for Ron Jans's men in Enschede.
With 54 points from 27 games so far, The Tukkers have moved up to fourth place in the standings, leapfrogging AZ Alkmaar in the process.
Only Ajax have conceded fewer times on their own patch than Saturday's hosts, who have let in just eight goals in 19 home games this term.

Team News
The trio of Mees Kreekels, Shurandy Sambo and Ryan Thomas are all sidelined with knee injuries and will not play any part for PSV.
Forward Cody Gakpo is a major doubt for this weekend's game after he missed his side's last outing through a muscle injury.
Andre Ramalho has not featured since the turn of the year due to an ankle problem, but the Brazilian is nearing a return to action.
Twente's Mees Hilgers continues to nurse a groin problem, while Wout Brama is yet to fully recuperate from a torn muscle.
Top scorer Ricky van Wolfswinkel is expected to lead the line once again despite having failed to score in his last three games.
FC Twente possible starting lineup:
Unnerstall; Smal, Pleguezuelo, Propper, Brenet; Bosch, Zerrouki; Misidjan, Vlap, Rots; Van Wolfswinkel
PSV Eindhoven possible starting lineup:
Drommel; Max, Boscagli, Teze, Mauro; Sangare, Gutierrez, Gotze; Veerman, Doan, Zahavi
We say: FC Twente 1-2 PSV Eindhoven
PSV know that any dropped points from here on out could signal the end of their title challenge, and we expect them to be fully up for this one. We are also backing this weekend's visitors to come away with all three points, albeit by a narrow margin.
