Cambuur have returned to winning ways having secured a 3-1 win over FC Utrecht at Stadion Galgenwaard to climb up to sixth place in the Eredivisie table.
The visitors, who came into this game with no league win in their last four, fell behind on 24 minutes when Ruud Boymans converted from the penalty spot.
Boymans was gifted the chance to double his side's advantage from a second penalty 12 minutes later, although Leonard Nienhuis was equal to the effort to keep the scoreline at 1-0.
That miss proved costly for Utrecht, with Martijn Barto equalising before the interval with a well-placed header at the end of Calvin Mac-Intosch's cross.
The game appeared to be heading for a draw, until Bartholomew Ogbeche found a way through eight minutes from time to put Henk de Jong's charges in front for the first time.
Dejan Meleg rounded off the scoring late on to make sure of the points, which sees Utrecht end the weekend in 11th place.
