Malaga sign Moroccan international Mounir El Hamdaoui on a season-long loan from Fiorentina.

Malaga have agreed a deal to sign Mounir El Hamdaoui on a season-long loan from Fiorentina.

The deal for the Moroccan international, who joined Tottenham Hotspur as a 21-year-old in 2005, includes an option to make the transfer permanent.

"Malaga Football Club have reached an agreement with Fiorentina to incorporate into the squad the striker of Moroccan origin Mounir El Hamdaoui," read a statement on the club's official website.

El Hamdaoui, 29, arrived at the Stadio Artemio Franchi from Ajax last summer, but started just four games for the Viola.
