Swindon Town are on course to take top spot in League One, but have failed to find a way through a resilient Fleetwood Town.
The Robins, who will move to the top of the table with a point or better, made a bright start as Chelsea loanee John Swift came within inches of giving the visitors a fourth-minute lead.
Fleetwood, looking to move into the playoff places with a win, posed a threat of their own in attack and missed the chance to edge in front soon after as Mark Roberts fired wide.
Swift then earned his side a penalty after drawing a foul from Stephen Jordan, but Michael Smith was unable to convert from the spot as his effort was saved by Chris Maxwell.
The Cod Army could have taken the lead midway through the half when Josh Morris was afforded space to shoot on the edge of the box, but couldn't test Wes Foderingham.
Swindon then had their best chance of the half as Harry Toffolo beat Maxwell, but saw his shot come back off the woodwork.
