Huddersfield Town forward Daniel Carr has had his loan spell with Fleetwood Town extended until the end of January.
The 20-year-old was due to return to his parent club this week, but will now remain at Highbury until at least January 26.
"We still have a good number of available options in attack, so extending Daniel's loan suits both clubs and the player," boss Mark Robins told Huddersfield's official website.
"It's good that Fleetwood have been impressed by him and want to keep him at their club for the busy festive period, but the next challenge for Daniel now is to force his way into Graham Alexander's starting XI.
"It is important for Daniel's development that he gets more experience of senior football in a team near the top of a tough division."
Carr has made three appearances for Fleetwood.
