Fleetwood Town defender Nathan Pond has signed a 12-month contract extension with the League One club.
The 30-year-old's previous deal at the Highbury Stadium had been due to expire next month.
"I'm very happy to extend my stay at Fleetwood Town. It's going to be another exciting season for the club," he told the Cod Army's official website.
"Experience is key at any level and I will have to set an example to the younger lads in the squad. I'm looking forward to it."
Pond joined Fleetwood from Lancaster City in 2003.
