Sao Paulo vs. Flamengo (Sunday, 7.00pm)
After suffering their worst defeat of the season in late July (5-1), Sao Paulo have a chance to repay the favour to Flamengo on Sunday when they host the defending Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A champions at Cierco Pompeu de Toledo Stadium.
On Wednesday, Tricolor Paulista salvaged a point with an injury-time strike to draw Fortaleza 1-1, while Urubu extended its unbeaten run to five straight in the league, with a convincing 3-0 win over Bahia.
We say: Sao Paulo 0-2 Flamengo
Sao Paulo may be a little better defensively with Ceni at the helm, but they do not pose much of a threat in attack to bother a traditionally stingy backline in Flamengo.
You can throw out the fact that Tricolor Paulista are unbeaten versus Mengao in their previous nine home fixtures because those were different Sao Paulo teams with plenty of quality in attack, something that they have lacked in 2021, but something that Flamengo have in spades.

Fluminense vs. Palmeiras (Sunday, 9.15pm)
Time is running out for Palmeiras to try and catch Atletico Mineiro in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A standings, sitting 10 points back of them heading into their match on Sunday at home to Fluminense from the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.
Tricolor come into this contest having lost three of their previous four fixtures, dropping a 1-0 decision to Gremio on Tuesday, while Palestra are in second place following an emphatic 4-0 win over Atletico Goianiense.
We say: Fluminense 0-2 Palmeiras

Ceara vs. Sport (Sunday, 10.00pm)
After they both were narrowly defeated in mid-week, Ceara and Sport Recife return to action in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A on Sunday at Castelao in Fortaleza.
Vovo currently sit in 12th place, clinging to the final Copa Sudamericana position for 2022, while Recife are still trying to fight their way out of the relegation zone, sitting six points below that line heading into this match.
We say: Ceara 0-0 Sport Recife
If there is one thing that both of these teams have consistently excelled at throughout this campaign, it would be putting up zeroes on the scoreboard but also doing the same to their opponents numerous times, as Ceara and Recife have failed to score in 29 games combined with a total of 15 0-0 draws between them in this domestic campaign.

Chapecoense vs. Juventude (Sunday, 10.00pm)
Chapecoense come into their next Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A match on Sunday with only pride to play for when they host Juventude at Arena Conda.
Verdao held the reigning league champions Flamengo to a 2-2 draw on Monday, while Juve won for the first time since September 26, defeating Internacional 2-1.
We say: Chapecoense 2-1 Juventude
The pressure is off Chape for the remainder of the year, and they are playing with a lot more purpose, albeit in a season where they will be going down to the second tier of Brazilian football.
