Fortuna Dusseldorf director Thomas Allofs has warned that the club will not consider bids of less than £4.2m for sought-after goalkeeper Fabian Giefer.
The 22-year-old has impressed for Dusseldorf this season and Allofs has made clear that they are in no rush to sell their star prospect.
"If there is any serious interest in Fabian Giefer, any starting bid would need to be beyond £4.2m," he told the Rheinische Post. "Otherwise this is nothing of our concern.
"In the end we would always have to insist there is still a valid deal existing between Giefer and Dusseldorf."
Dusseldorf are just clear of the relegation playoff spot in 15th in the Bundesliga.
