Samir Nasri has insisted that France have nothing to fear from England at Euro 2012.
The two rivals will meet in the Group D opener on June 11 in a repeat of their 2004 clash in Portugal.
The Manchester City star revealed that before the draw, Les Bleus were "afraid" of being paired against pre-tournament favourites Spain and Germany.
However, after being drawn with England, Sweden and Ukraine, the 24-year-old said that winning their group is now a strong possibility.
"Before the draw for the finals we were afraid of landing a monster like Spain or Germany," said Nasri. "We've the potential to at least reach the quarter-finals; and this group is entirely within our grasp."
Nasri has won 30 caps for France.
