Lyon striker Nabil Fekir faces six months on the sidelines after injuring his knee while playing for France, according to reports.
The 22-year-old was replaced after 15 minutes in Les Bleus' 1-0 win against Portugal in Lisbon, and according to ESPN reporter Julien Laurens on Twitter, Fekir ruptured the cruciate ligament in his right knee and will be out until next year.
The youngster, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and has been a key part of Lyon's attack alongside Alexandre Lacazette, may be unable to play until March at the earliest.
Fekir is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1, netting four goals in four games that included a hat-trick last weekend against Caen.
