How France could line up against Bulgaria

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how France could line up for their International Friendly with Bulgaria on Tuesday night.

France manager Didier Deschamps has been boosted by the returns of Olivier Giroud, Kurt Zouma and N'Golo Kante to the Bleus camp ahead of their friendly meeting with Bulgaria on Tuesday.

The Chelsea trio arrived late due to their triumphant exploits in the Champions League final and were all given a warm reception upon arrival, and two of them in Giroud and Kante have good chances of featuring from the first whistle here.

Deschamps opted to name a near full-strength side for last week's routine friendly win over Wales, and with ample time to rest ahead of their first Euros battle with Germany on June 15, the France boss should stick with that winning formula here.

Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez were both hooked at half time against Wales - with Jules Kounde replacing the former for his national team debut - and the latter may make way for Lucas Digne amid concerns over a knee issue.

Zouma is unlikely to be considered for a place over Raphael Varane or Presnel Kimpembe, but Kante's return should see him link up with Paul Pogba and Adrien Rabiot in the middle, with Corentin Tolisso dropping out.

Antoine Griezmann's stunner put France two goals to the good against Wales and he ought to feature in the number 10 role again, and Deschamps is spoiled for choice up top following Giroud's return.

Karim Benzema's return to the national team was not a memorable one as he saw his penalty saved by Wales's Danny Ward, and while he did claim the assist for Ousmane Dembele's strike, the Real Madrid man may make way for Giroud, who needs eight more goals to surpass Thierry Henry as France's all-time leading goalscorer.

France possible starting lineup: Lloris; Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Digne; Kante, Pogba, Rabiot; Griezmann; Mbappe, Giroud body check tags ::
