Karim Benzema has spoken of his pride at scoring twice for France in their World Cup opener against Honduras.
The Real Madrid striker netted a goal in each half as Les Bleus eased to a comfortable 3-0 win against their Group E rivals.
"I'm very happy and very proud. A hat-trick would've been great, but the important thing is that the team wins," he told reporters.
"Some judge me on the number of goals I score, but the way I see it I have many different ways of contributing.
"I had it in my mind to play a good game and win while playing my football without pressure. That's what we all did tonight."
Benzema has netted 23 goals in 67 appearances for France.
