France midfielder Yohan Cabaye has insisted that the team is not getting carried away by their draw for the World Cup.
Les Bleus, who won the tournament in 1998, are expected to ease through Group E after being pitted against Ecuador, Honduras and Switzerland.
While admitting that he and his teammates have been handed a favourable draw, Cabaye believes that France still have plenty of work to do if they want to reach the second round in Brazil.
"The draw could have been worse, but we know that we can't get too carried away because the competition is going to be difficult," the 28-year-old told FIFA's official website.
"The tricky thing is that we don't really know much about Honduras and Ecuador to be totally honest, but we have huge respect for them.
"We're confident about our abilities, but we'll need to play with great determination and focus, demonstrating the same mindset we've had during our last few matches."
France play their final warm-up match on Sunday when they face Jamaica in Lille.
