Yohan Cabaye: 'Humility key for France'

France midfielder Yohan Cabaye says that it is crucial that Les Blues remain grounded if they are to progress further in the World Cup.

Yohan Cabaye believes that success for France in the World Cup will hinge on how humble they remain throughout the competition.

Les Blues head into tomorrow's second-round clash with Nigeria having thumped Honduras and Switzerland en route to topping Group E.

Didier Deschamps's side had to overhaul a 2-0 first-leg defeat to Ukraine in order to book their place in Brazil via the playoffs in November.

While Cabaye believes that the brush with elimination has aided their campaign thus far, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder believes that "major problems" lie ahead unless they remain grounded.

"We have come a long way considering we almost didn't make it to Brazil, so we should not get ahead of ourselves," he told FIFA.com.

"The fact we showed our quality in the group stage obviously should make us more confident but not arrogant, otherwise we are going to have major problems."

Monday's clash with the Super Eagles is scheduled to kick off at 5pm.
