France full-back Benjamin Pavard's strike during his side's 4-3 last-16 win over Argentina has been named the official World Cup goal of the tournament.
More than three million people voted in an online poll to determine the very best of the 169 goals scored during this summer's tournament in Russia, with Pavard's outside-of-the-boot volley into the top corner coming out on top.
The goal, which levelled things up at 2-2, finished ahead of Juan Quintero's free kick for Colombia against Japan and Luka Modric's long-range strike against Argentina.
France went on to lift the trophy for only the second time in their history, beating Croatia 4-2 in the final.
