Inter Milan are on course to head back to the top of the Serie A table as they hold a 1-0 half-time lead over visitors Frosinone at the San Siro this evening.
Visiting keeper Nicola Leali was called into action early on, when he made a good decision to punch clear a strong cross from Inter left-back Alex Telles.
Frosinone sought to launch a move of their own and they almost found a lead through Danilo Soddimo, who saw his volley turned behind for a corner by Samir Handanovic.
Inter enjoyed much of the ball in the first period but they were unable to create much with it, this time as the away side thwarted some good play between Telles and Adem Ljajic.
The hosts continued to persist and they eventually found an opener thanks to Jonathan Biabiany, as the Frenchman was able to follow up neatly on a rebound from Stevan Jovetic's shot in the 29th minute.
Frosinone responded well, however, and they might have earned an equaliser before half time had Modibo Diakite been a little luckier with his overhead kick from inside the Inter box.
