Fulham youngster Chris David has expressed his delight after making his first-team debut during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Norwich City in the FA Cup.
The Dutch forward, 20, started the match at Carrow Road as the Cottagers earned a third-round replay against the Canaries.
David now hopes to be given more chances in the senior side under manager Rene Meulensteen.
"Anyone that has been following the Under-21 games this season will know that we're in first place and we're unbeaten, and that's because we have a lot of good players," he told the club's official website.
"Now we've been given an opportunity by the new head coach which is good because it shows that we're doing well.
"At our age we're always trying to improve and show what we're capable of. Hopefully we can continue to do that."
Fulham continue their battle for Premier League survival on Saturday when they host fellow strugglers Sunderland.
