Fulham manager Martin Jol has claimed that taking charge at Craven Cottage has been the "toughest" appointment in his career.
The Dutchman has taken his side to 15th in the league table, just three points above the drop zone.
"It could be my toughest job. I think so, yes," the Daily Star quotes Jol as saying. "At other clubs where I've been you win six out of ten games, and it is easier of course.
"But remember, Danny Murphy scored in 2008 in the final game at Portsmouth to keep Fulham in the top flight. Last season in the first half of the season they had a problem and after Christmas they improved and finished eighth.
"Our aim is to get two players in every position, to do well and play different sides in all the competitions. We are getting there."
The London side take on Jol's former club FC Twente in the Europa League this evening.
