Despite losing his place in the side towards the end of the season, Bassey made 39 competitive appearances for the Dutch club, contributing one goal and one assist.
With Fulham on the verge of signing Bassey, it remains to be seen whether they will pursue a deal for Southampton's Mohammed Salisu.
