Fulham manager Felix Magath has assured Ryan Tunnicliffe that he will be given the chance to prove himself in the team next season.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Cottagers from Manchester United in January, but he was loaned out to Wigan Athletic just 25 days later when Magath replaced Rene Meulensteen.
Despite a stuttering start to his career at Craven Cottage, Magath insists that Tunnicliffe will be part of his plans in the Championship during the next campaign.
"I'm sorry I had to put players like Tunnicliffe out of the team in February," he told the Fulham Chronicle. "The squad was too big so I had to send some away.
"Now he's back. Everybody gets a chance with me. At that time I wasn't able to give him a chance, but now the situation is different so I thought why not?
"He will get his chance, like others, in the next season too."
Fulham finished their Premier League campaign on Sunday with a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace.
