Danny Murphy is reportedly keen to secure a new contract with Fulham.
The veteran midfielder's current deal is due to expire at the beginning of July which will make him a free agent.
However, the former England international is believed to be eager to hold talks with manager Martin Jol over an extension to his stay at Craven Cottage.
Any new deal is dependant upon the 35-year-old accepting a cut in wages though, according to The People.
Queens Park Rangers are said to be monitoring the situation closely.
