Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell has revealed that he does not know whether the club will offer him a new contract.
The 31-year-old is among a handful of players at Craven Cottage who are due to be free agents at the end of the season.
Sidwell has already held unsuccessful talks with the club on two separate occasions over the past year, and he now admits that his future could be in doubt.
"I told them at the end of last season I wanted to stay. We tried to sit down in pre-season and talk but it wasn't very good," he told talkSPORT.
"In January, I reiterated that I wanted to sign and they have just brushed that away. Maybe that has shown the club's cards on that front.
"We'll have to wait and see if the football club want to keep me."
Fulham were relegated from the Premier League on Saturday with a 4-1 defeat at Stoke City.
