Turkish side Galatasaray have confirmed that they are in talks with former Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli over the vacant manager's position at the club.
Roberto Mancini left at the end of last season after just nine months in charge and, although the club previously claimed that Joachim Low and Jurgen Klinsmann were the top targets, they have opened negotiations with the Italian.
"Galatasaray Sportif has announced that they have begun negotiating with the Italian football manager Cesare Prandelli," the club said in a statement. "The public will be updated about further developments."
Last week Gala revealed that they had spoken to David Moyes, who lasted less than a year in charge of Manchester United.
