Czech Republic striker Milan Baros is in negotiations with Banik Ostrava regarding a possible move to the club.
Baros left Turkish side Galatasaray after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent earlier this week.
It was widely reported that his former club Banik Ostrava would be interested in signing Baros and now the outfit's official website have confirmed that an approach has been made.
"This afternoon we informed agent Pavel Paska, that Milan Baros terminated the contract with the Turkish football club Galatasaray SK," read a statement.
"We immediately started negotiations with him about the conditions of the possible signing of Milan for Banik Ostrava."
Baros originally left Banik Ostrava in 2002 to join Liverpool.
