Gennaro Gattuso has opted to turn down a move to Galatasaray in favour of joining Swiss outfit Sion, according to a report.
Sport Mediaset claims that the former AC Milan midfielder will be unveiled as a Sion player at a press conference tomorrow (June 15).
The 34-year-old is said to have snubbed a one-year deal with the Turkish giants worth €1.5m, and sign on until 2014 with his new employer.
Sion, who finished ninth in their domestic league last season, are seeking a new manager following Vladimir Petkovic's decision to join Lazio.
