Schalke winger Julian Draxler believes that Germany were better than England at Wembley on Tuesday.
Per Mertesacker's first-half goal proved to be the difference between the two sides in their friendly international in London.
"It was a really great feeling and a nice experience to play here," he told Bundesliga.com.
"England played well but we could have scored a second goal. We earned the win here, and I think we're a little bit better than England right now.
"The match was a close game. You could probably say that Per was the difference today. He scored a really nice header."
Germany have suffered just one defeat in 2013.
