Germany manager Joachim Low has agreed to extend his contract with the world champions until 2022.
Low is currently in his 12th year in charge of the national team, with the 58-year-old guiding Germany to the World Cup when it was held in Brazil in 2014.
Last month, reports suggested that Low may return to the club scene with a number of high-profile opportunities becoming available, but Low has instead committed his future to his current setup.
The announcement comes at a time when Germany have revealed their preliminary 35-man squad for the World Cup, with both Emre Can and Mario Gotze surprising absentees from the group.
Germany will play Mexico, Sweden and South Korea during the group stages.
