Germany have shared a goalless draw with Poland in their international friendly at the Imtech Arena this evening.
Germany, who named an experimental side for the fixture, dominated the opening 15 minutes of the tie with Julian Draxler and Kevin Volland both having shots inside the opening 10 minutes, but neither was able to test the keeper.
Thiago Cionek had the game's first on-target effort as he tried to fire in from a Ludovic Obraniak cross, but Ron-Robert Zieler made the save for the hosts.
Mateusz Klich and Marcin Robak had further efforts for Poland before the break, but they were unable to edge ahead in the first half.
Germany made a strong start to the second half as they continued to push for the opening goal, but Max Meyer and Draxler both had high shots within 10 minutes of the restart.
The Germans continued to create the majority of the chances, but rarely tested Artur Boruc, allowing the visitors to see out the draw.
