Mario Gotze has claimed that Germany will be in for a tough match against World Cup Group G rivals Ghana on Saturday.
The Germans opened their tournament with a 4-0 win against Portugal, while Ghana suffered a late 2-1 defeat against the USA.
Gotze has admitted that while it was important for his country to start their World Cup on a winning note, they cannot become complacent against a team that will be desperate to claim three points.
"It was important for us to take those three points [against Portugal], but that was all," Gotze told FIFA.com
"Our performance shouldn't be overstated, as there were some things that simply went well for us. In some situations we were just lucky. It won't be easy given that Ghana now need three points no matter what. It'll be a very tough game, but we can be confident about it."
Following their clash against Ghana, the Germans will take on the USA in their final group match next Thursday in Recife.
