Former Germany international Dietmar Hamann has described the team's dismantling of Brazil in the World Cup semi-finals as a "masterclass".
The Germans humiliated the host nation on Tuesday night thanks to a stunning 7-1 triumph.
Joachim Low's side will now face either Argentina or the Netherlands in Sunday's final.
Hamann tweeted: "Masterclass from Germany. Clinical, organised, hard-working, unselfish and humble. Very proud of the team. One to go."
Germany last reached the World Cup final in 2002 before losing 2-0 to Brazil.
