Germany defender Mats Hummels has played down fears that he could miss the rest of the World Cup after picking up an injury in Monday's 4-0 win over Portugal.
The Borussia Dortmund centre-back, who scored the second goal of the match, was substituted in the second half of the Group G clash. However, Hummels has insisted that he "will be fine in just a few days".
"I have been struck on the thigh. That's why a replacement came on," he told reporters. "There's always a worry that the injury could be worse than first thought but, with a bit of luck, I will be fine in just a few days."
Germany return to action against Ghana on Sunday evening.
