Mesut Ozil has warned Germany's World Cup rivals that he is expecting to find his best form and produce some "big performances" shortly.
The Arsenal playmaker has come under some scrutiny for failing to score or create any of the Germans' six goals in the competition thus far.
Joachim Low's side face USA in Recife tonight knowing that a point would see them progress into the last 16 as Group G winners, and Ozil promises to showcase his famed abilities in the upcoming games.
"Obviously, I know I can do better," he told reporters. "I am satisfied with the last two games. I played on high level in the tournament. Of course, goals or assists are missing.
"I know what I can do and I will show some big performances in the upcoming games."
This evening's clash kicks off at 5pm.
