Getafe midfielder Angel Lafita is expected to be on the sidelines for up to 10 days with an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old was forced off during Sunday's 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid in La Liga, but it had been anticipated that he would return for the home match against Celta Vigo on Thursday.
However, according to Football Espana, tests have confirmed that the playmaker has suffered a sprained ankle, which will keep him out for the remainder of the month.
Lafita will also sit out Sunday's trip to Espanyol.
