Relegation-threatened Getafe have parted company with head coach Fran Escriba.
The club's board took the decision following the weekend's 2-0 defeat against Villarreal, which extended the team's winless run to three months.
"The club thank him for his work and wish him luck in his professional future," read a statement on the Spanish outfit's official website.
Escriba, who took charge of Getafe last June, is the 10th La Liga manager to have been relieved of his duties this season.
He leaves the Madrid-based side two points from safety with six matches left to play.
