Gillingham have signed Preston forward Graham Burke on loan until May 4.
The 25-year-old, who has two caps for the Republic of Ireland, becomes the club's second signing of the transfer window following the arrival of winger Billy King on Wednesday.
Gills boss Steve Lovell told the club website: "Naturally Graham has had a lot of interest from other clubs so I'm delighted he has decided to join us here.
"He has proved he is a goalscorer; he has represented his country and has experience of playing at a higher level.
"This will add competition to our forward areas and we are looking forward to working with him."
The League One side have also added Sheffield United winger Ricky Holmes to their squad until May 4.
Holmes, who played 19 games on loan at Oxford earlier this season, will be unable to make an immediate impact at Gillingham due to injury.
"I'm more grateful than anything else as I've been injured. Gillingham have given me the opportunity to get me fit, and within a month I should be back doing what I love doing," Holmes told the Gillingham website.
Gills also announced 22-year-old midfielder Navid Nasseri has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
