Granada welcomed Real Mallorca to the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Sunday with both teams struggling in the lower regions of the league table.
The home side took the lead after eight minutes courtesy of a header from Nolito, but Alejandro Alfaro levelled for Mallorca four minutes later.
Both sides had changes in the second period, but it was Mallorca that won it in the final minute when Tomer Hemed headed home from close range.

Morning all! Thanks for joining me on your Sunday morning as Granada welcome Real Mallorca in a real six-pointer at the bottom of the table. Granada have managed to move themselves out of trouble in recent weeks, but Mallorca currently sit in 19th position, some seven points from safety.
In terms of the recent meetings between the two sides, Granada have won one and drawn two of their last three matches against Mallorca. The reverse fixture earlier in the season ended in a 2-1 away win, but the last clash in this particular stadium brought a 0-0 draw. You just get the feeling that Mallorca cannot afford to suffer another defeat here.
Many are of the opinion that Mallorca are as good as gone, but they will still feel confident of turning things around. They have taken just one point from their last six matches, however, while their goal difference is also the second-worst in the division. Unfortunately the likes of Giovani dos Santos have been unable to influence proceedings in recent weeks.
Taking a look at their numbers, it is not hard to see why they have struggled this season. They have conceded 48 goals in their 25 matches, which is a total only worsened by two teams, while they have scored the second-least amount of goals with 24. Struggling to score and struggling to keep a clean sheet – it is not a great formula for success.
Their away form also leaves a lot to be desired with just one win from their 13 matches. However, Granada’s home form this season has been far from spectacular with just three wins from their 12 matches, which is testament to their away form that they are not in the bottom three. Mallorca have to believe that they can start their recovery in this match.

So there we have it. Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz hands a start to former Sevilla midfielder Diego Buonanotte, while Aranda and Ighalo continue in attack. However, Gabriel Torje takes his place on the bench. Mallorca, meanwhile, continue with Giovani and Alfaro as the forward pair. Tomer Hemed once more starts on the bench.
Granada, meanwhile, have taken a presentable nine points from their last six matches, winning three times in the process. They currently sit in 15th position in the table, but are one of about seven teams that are in the relegation scrap. In my opinion, if Granada pick up the win here, then Mallorca are gone and they are safe.
Granada’s numbers make interesting reading. They have conceded 36 goals this season, which is about midtable in terms of the rest of the division, while they have scored just 24, the same total as Mallorca. We could either have a 3-3 this afternoon, or a 0-0. I know which I would prefer.

Granada attempt to respond down the other end as Aranda whips a dangerous cross into the box, but Jose Nunes is on hand to make the challenge. Wow, some 16 minutes we have had to this tie. The tempo shows no signs of easing up, meanwhile, as Granada continue to commit numbers to each attack.
The possession certainly belongs to Granada at the moment with the likes of Nolito, Rico and Recio enjoying plenty of the ball in midfield. The latter attempts to slide a low pass behind the Mallorca defence, but Hutton is on the cover. The crowd are certainly pleased with what they have seen thus far.
On the face of it, a point for Mallorca would not be the worst result in the world. But draws are simply not enough at this stage of the season. It is win or bust. That said, I am purely speculating with a large chunk of this match to be played. I suspect that we have not seen the last of the goals this afternoon.

Granada remain the side very much in the ascendancy, but they are just struggling to find that elusive final pass. It's good work from Tissone as the Argentine manages to deliver a dangerous cross into the Granada box, but Tono comes out to collect before starting a counter attack for his side. Ighalo is the man involved, but Hutton is across to make the challenge before Mallorca advance down the other end. End-to-end football with 32 minutes on the clock.
It must be said that the atmosphere inside the stadium has not dropped since the first minute of the match. The supporters really have turned out in their numbers this afternoon. Granada are just trying to force it at the moment, however, with Ighalo chasing lost causes behind the Mallorca defence.
