Granada have signed French centre-back Jean-Sylvain Babin from Alcorcon.

The 27-year-old, who moved to Spain with Lucena in 2008 before joining Alcorcon two years later, has signed a four-year contract with the La Liga outfit.

It is understood that Babin has been a target for Granada for the last couple of seasons, with his performances in the Segunda drawing a host of interest.

Babin is primarily a centre-back, but can also operate in the full-back positions.
