Hamburg and Greuther Furth have played out a 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga.
Visitors Furth broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when Thomas Pledl released Nikola Djurdjic to shoot home from the right side of the penalty box.
However, Hamburg equalised just seven minutes later through Maximilian Beister, who turned home Dennis Aogo's headed pass from close range.
Beister came close to adding to his tally on 27 minutes but saw his effort from outside the Furth 18-yard box saved by Wolfgang Hesl.
Hamburg dominated the remainder of the first half, but failed to head into the break with any advantage.
The home side continued to pull the strings in the opening minutes of the second half, Artjoms Rudnevs heading off target.
Furth stepped up the game in the final 30 minutes of the contest with Djurdjic, Johannes Geis and Stephan Furstner all trying their luck but in vain.
