Borussia Monchengladbach have beaten Hamburger SV 2-0 away from home in the Bundesliga courtesy of a Max Kruse brace.
The first chance of the game fell to Milan Badelj but his shot from the edge of the box went narrowly wide of the left-hand post.
It remained all Hamburg in the opening 20 minutes and Pierre-Michel Lasogga should have put his side ahead but his header from a Marcell Jansen cross was too central.
Gladbach took full advantage of their reprieve and were ahead on 23 minutes as Kruse slammed into the roof of the net from inside the box.
Hamburg continued to attack and Hakan Calhanoglu tested Marc-Andre ter Stegen from range, but they were struggling to get the breakthrough.
Then in the 63rd minute Kruse added his second with a well-struck shot from the left side of the box to wrap up the points for the visitors.
