Eintracht Frankfurt have been held to a goalless draw by Hannover away from home in the Bundesliga.
The first chance of the game fell to the home side after six minutes when Didier Ya Konan took an attempt from over 35 yards but failed to keep it on target.
Five minutes later Mohammed Abdellaoue headed Sebastien Pocognoli's cross over the Frankfurt bar from close range, before Mame Biram Diouf headed just wide from a free kick.
Frankfurt then pushed Hannover deep into their own half with three quick chances through Takashi Inui and Sebastian Juan, but all in vain.
Chances continued to be created by both teams in the opening minutes of the second half, Diouf watching his shot from outside the Frankfurt box saved before Johan Djourou met the same fate with his close-range header.
The contest became more even as it drew to a close, with Inui forcing a save from Ron-Robert Zieler in the final minute in what was the last chance for either side.
