An 81st-minute free kick from Ronny has earned Hertha Berlin a 1-1 draw with Hannover in the Bundesliga.
Nico Schulz forced a save from Ron-Robert Zieler inside the opening 20 minutes as he tried to drill the ball in from outside the box, while Fabian Lustenberger smashed his effort wide from close range.
However, the home side took the lead in the 23rd minute, as Christian Schulz powered the ball past Thomas Kraft from close range.
Artur Sobiech had a chance to double Hannover's lead just after the half-hour mark, but Kraft was able to keep hold of the ball.
Hertha were denied by the post early in the second half, as Anis Ben-Hatira attempted to tap in from an Adrian Ramos cross.
The visitors continued to threaten throughout the second half and were able to draw level in the 81st minute, when Ronny smashed the ball into the top right corner directly from a free kick, which left Zieler rooted to the spot.
The home side pushed hard in a bid to regain the lead, with Sobiech testing Kraft in the final minute of the game, but the Hertha keeper was able to tip the ball over to secure a point for the visitors.
