Middlesbrough striker Charlie Wyke has joined Hartlepool United on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Championship club in the summer, but has yet to make his mark in the first team.
Hartlepool boss Neale Cooper told Sky Sports News: "He came in and trained with us and from day one he looked really good.
"He's a good size, has good feet and has shown a great attitude to training so we're sure he will be a good addition for us. Charlie is renowned for his finishing and we've been impressed by that, but overall he's just fitted in really well so it will be good to take a look at him in competitive action.
"I'd like to thank Middlesbrough for their help on this and hopefully the player will benefit us and but also gain from the experience."
Hartlepool currently sit 23rd in League One.
