Hearts have completed the signing of goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal from Czech outfit FC Fastav Zlin.
The 32-year-old, who has penned a three-year contract at Tynecastle, was out of contract at his former club and has previously played in Italy with Bari and Udinese.
Zlamal was a youngster when he formed part of the travelling Sparta Prague squad that took on the Jambos at Murrayfield in a UEFA Cup tie in 2006.
"I was very young back then so I didn't play, but it was my first UEFA Cup experience and I remember it very well," Zlamal told the official Hearts site.
"I remember the Hearts fans and I kept thinking how great they were. I can't explain how happy it makes me to have signed for this great club.
"It has long been my dream to play in British football and I am very excited to be joining Hearts."
Zlamal made 13 appearances for Zlin last term as they finished 10th in the Czech top flight after switching from Turkish Superleague club Alanyaspor last summer.
