Hereford United have been expelled from the Football Conference due to their financial failings.
The club was ordered to pay its creditors by 5pm on June 5, but they failed to meet the deadline.
The Conference board met on Tuesday to decide Hereford's future, and they have unanimously agreed that the club should be removed from the Conference Premier and its regional divisions.
Hereford's expulsion has seen relegated Chester City return to the league.
"The board has exercised its unanimous decision that should the club fail to fulfil the requirements it would be expelled from the competition and the company under Article 5.2," read an official statement on the Football Conference's website.
Hereford have yet to confirm whether they will appeal the ruling.
