Pierre-Michel Lasogga has described the prospect of moving to a Premier League club as a "dream".
The Hertha Berlin striker, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Hamburg, has one year remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga side, but has so far been reluctant to sign an extension.
"Since I started to play football, my dream has been to play in Premier League," ESPN quotes the 22-year-old as saying.
However, Hertha's sporting director Michael Preetz told Berliner Morgenpost: "We will get together for talks in the next few days. We have positioned ourselves. Now we need to know how Pierre sees it."
The German newspaper also reports that Newcastle United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have all approached the club regarding Lasogga.
