Honduras manager Luis Fernando Suarez has admitted that his side were well beaten by France in their opening World Cup match.
The Central Americans suffered a 3-0 defeat against the French and finished the match with 10 men following Wilson Palacios's red card.
"For 90 minutes, France played better than us. They were superior, I have no excuses," Football Italia quotes him as saying.
"There are some things I need to do in order to improve the way the team functions. It's also hard to keep up when you're a man down.
"In a competition like this, you can lose and still learn a great deal for the future."
Honduras take on Ecuador in their second Group E match on Friday.
